In 2010, former Royal Ballet (Covent Garden) dancers Michael Nunn, OBE and William Trevitt, OBE held a series of open auditions with the idea of forming an all-male company. The artists they selected brought a range of dance backgrounds to the studio. Nunn and Trevitt’s previous outreach work had taught them that raw talent, set in the right direction, can often trump formal training so they selected dances on this premise. The result is an energetic company of ten dancers who will perform two stunning works showcasing their strength and sensitivity in the contemporary ballet genre.
