Formed at the height of the civil rights movement, Dance Theatre of Harlem has created a space for dancers of every colour and background to express themselves freely. The legendary company continues to be a beacon of inclusion, innovation and moving art, performing a forward-thinking repertoire of treasured classics, neoclassical works by Balanchine and resident choreographer Robert Garland, and modern works that celebrate Black culture.
