Now entering our 29th season, Dance Victoria is an established leader in the presentation of dance, with a reputation for artistic excellence, diversity of programming, and innovation. As the largest dance presenter in Western Canada, we bring diverse Canadian and international companies to the Royal Theatre; support local artists with residencies, free studio space, and performance opportunities; and provide access to live performance for families who face barriers to attendance, young people, new Canadians, and survivors of gender-based violence through our Dance Is For Everyone, Nutcracker Kids, and Pay Your Age programs. When you make a bequest to Dance Victoria, you are contributing to Victoria’s vital cultural sector; enhancing the quality of life in our region; and ensuring dance artists continue to have a home where they can research, create, and perform.
We invite you to consider the impact your gift could make on the lives of others by thinking now about a gift in your will (bequest) or other planned giving including the donation of securities, insurance, or other future gifts.
Dance Victoria highly recommends that any Planned Giving decisions are made in consultation with advisors and family members so that those closest to you understand your wishes. All donations $10 or greater receive:
- Acknowledgement in Dance Victoria’s annual house program
- A charitable tax receipt in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Automatic enrollment as a member of Dance Victoria Society, eligible to vote at its Annual General Meeting.
