After the international success of Born a Shadow (2017) and Ariadna, Alhilo del Mito (2020), Artistic Director Rafaela Carrasco and Playwright Álvaro Tato deepen their creative partnership with Nocturna, a poetic dance exploration of nighttime as a dark mirror into the human soul. Along with an exceptional cast of dancers and musicians, the work leads the audience on a sleepless journey from dusk to dawn, evoking the mysteries of feeling, consciousness, and memory. Nocturna won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Dance Show at the XXVII Flamenco Festival of Jerez de la Frontera.

Carrasco is one of the most important flamenco dancers of the younger generation, and a revolutionary creator of cutting-edge flamenco choreography. She is a dancer who boundlessly explores new concepts while maintaining the essence and integrity of true flamenco.
