When Dance Victoria programs a season of the World’s Best Dance, our agreements with visiting companies always include a community masterclass led by an Artistic Director, rehearsal director, or company dancer. These unique opportunities are offered free of charge to local dance students of all ages and experience levels, providing the chance to learn technique and repertoire directly from world-class touring artists.

In addition, Dance Victoria offers masterclasses and movement workshops by our B.C. artists in residence, creating more opportunities for local dancers to engage with and learn from leading dance practitioners.
